Are the SRT seats that much more comfortable than the stock ones? Or was it just to be original? Either way, looks good.

I really like the steering wheel. Shame you couldn't get the GC shifter in there as well.

Looking very cool so far. I always like the interior mods personally, anyway to set it apart.

The hemi is going to really make it stand apart from the average JK too.

Were you able to integrate the controls from the GC steering wheel? And what did it cost for all this stuff?

Hey Sahara,
I am working on getting the shifter to work but that'll be a tough one too.

I'd have to say the SRT seats are softer and obviously more form fitting but the original JK seats are pretty comfortable on long drives.

Did you get any further with your Brembo brakes? I have a set sitting here now too...

Yes I did get the controls, horn and all to work. The connector was the same just had to juggle some of the wires and the air bag has the same terminals.
The wheel itself fit perfectly; about 1/2 inch smaller and 1/2 inch shallower.
Took me about 20 mins to do.

Good. At least you get to suffer a little. We have to see the whole damn process.

I like the dead pedal; I'm going to have to do that mod.

I 'm loving the GC steering wheel - what year GC is it out of? I might have to go shopping at my local junk yard.

I saw that post about getting the controls on the wheel to work - what controls are they?

Thanks for the info - great mods!

JD
