I'll have a set of 4.10 gears front and back for the dana 30 and dana 44 in September. I went to 35" and feel with the 6 speed I'll need a little more umpf to tow the boat or trailer behind it in New England.

Im just curious as to why. My 34's are 34.1" tall and the 35 counter part is 34.7. I have a hard time seeing it making that much of a difference.
As I stand now, my Jeep is a 3 speed (some times a 2 speed) and cruising @ 70 mph my RPM's are at about 27-2800.

To the original poster. I am guessing you have a manual, what where your RPM's per gear?

I have an auto and my tires are actually 33.7 or 33.8 which is 1" smaller than 35s. I can't tell you what my rpm was because I actually removed the gears about 2 months ago. I can only say that 4th gear rpm went up so much that it almost exactly matched what 3rd gear rpm used to be.
