5k might as well drop a hemi in it. then you can mod the hemi for alot cheaper and have a more reliable engine. JMO

You're going to spend at least 2X-4X as much for Hemi swap, unless you're buying a crate engine and doing all the labor yourself.

RIPP Mods supercharger has a thread going on another board. While the stats they list are impressive, they don't have any report on anything below 3600rpms. I don't know about you guys, but I rarely have my JK revved that high.

In the thread (which RIPP started) there were repeated requests for stats below 3600rpms but they were ignored.

I won't list the other forum, but the thread name is final HP figures for RIPP Supercharger Kit.

More importantly though I want to see some pics of the home made turbo. And a vid clip.

+1, just replace the word "unless" with "even if".

I forget not every one can do there own work. Then there is still the reliabilty issue and the more HP per dollar issue. I think A hemi sounds alot better than a 5k supercharger on a v-6 that started life as a mini van engine.

Don't be so harsh !!!!

A dealer in Lafayette has a courtesy van with over 250,000 miles on their " Minivan Engine " and Trans...

As much as I hear " shitty minivan engine" ..... It does get better fuel economy than the 4.0L I-6 TJ I traded in !!!!

I'm trying to get the details and pics. I'll post when I do.
