I either go with the Sunrider open or the top completely off - rarely pull it all the way back. Sorry, can't answer that part of the question.

However, I hardly ever ride with the soft top windows on. I have a Cloverpatch window roll that they are kept in (just in case of a storm) and it fits nicely inside the security deck. It sits a an angle side-to-side, but only takes up 6-8 inches.
