Default Tuffy overhead console!!!

I was looking into the Tuffy overhead console and from what I can see it would get in the way when I'm trying to take the freedome tops off. Does anyone have the product? Or maybe some interior pics? Thanks

I don't have one but here's a couple of shots that I took at SEMA...

While the console does sit under the latches of the Freedom Top, from what I could tell, there was still enough room in between to reach in and use them.

What about getting to the windshield loop to tighten a safarie top, doesn't look like it would be possible.

When we designed the JK Overhead console, we made sure that there was room above it in order to access the handles. In fact, you have to remove the front pieces of the top in order to install it, then replace them once the install is complete. Unless you have extremely big fingers, it shouldn't be too difficult to access the release handles.
Since the console actually attaches to the footman loop on the windshield, you'd simply need to grab another loop at your local hardware store and attach it to the body of the console if you were to use a bikini top.

Thumbs up Install

I just installed this overhead console. The install was not too bad besides my cb being too long to be able to close and lock the latch into place. I guess i will just have to keep it open. The front part where the cb is actually moves back so you have easy access to the latch to take off the freedom top. It feels like a very durable product and is pretty heavy. Im happy with the money i spent on this!

Default Dimensions

Are the interior dimensions listed anywhere? I want to make sure my rig will fit in there (and door closes) before I shell out a couple hundred bucks for this thing.
