I wonder what happened to the (now infamous) "slick tape" on their cubby cover?

Tuffy sent me a replacement piece of tape and it rubbed off after being on for just a couple days. I guess they had similar luck.

It looks like they may have grinded the corner down a bit??

Speaking of tuffy products, I am a little unimpressed with the fit and finish of the center console. There is an obvious gap in the front pictured here:
