Default Tuffy Glove Box (2011-Current)

Does anyone have any pictures of their Tuffy glove box you can share and give opinions? (from a 2011 - current)

I can't seem to find any pictures with the new dash that shows how well it blends in.

How does it look closed - like stock or can you tell it's different?

How much better is it than he stocker? Is it worth the money? Is it bigger, smaller or same size inside?

How easy was it to install?

Thanks!!

I don't have any pictures of it installed, but it really looks great. I bought the gray one because I had it installed in my 08 JKU. When I picked up my 15, it fit right in. There is not a big difference in color. If anything sets it off,it's the lock and handle. It is much better that the stock box. It is great knowing that I have a secure point to lock up items when the jeep is open. And yes, it was well worth the money. I also installed the Tuffy security deck in the back.

Awesome - thanks for your input. So being it's made from steel, how does the texture compare to the stock plastic box?

It's like night and day bro! I had one in my 2011 2door and I got alot of compliments on it. The arm rest was alot more comfy than stock. The texture also looks better than stock. I'm putting one in my 2015 4door Rubi soon. You can't go wrong!

Oh, I was meaning the glove box, not the console. I had thought about the console, but again, lack of good pictures and I thought the glove box would be less "after-market" looking. I may be totally wrong.

Here are some pics of the Tuffy glove box in my 2015 JK rubicon. I have the black one. It definitely looks different than stock but in my opinion it looks better. Has a rugged look to it. This was one of my first mods due to the fact I have the top down and doors off a lot in the warm weather. Seems very secure. Install had one tricky part getting the main attachment bar in. The instructions provided a solution to make it easier but I opted to take less apart so I struggled for a bit. All in all it was a pretty simple install. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the pictures - looks great! That's what I'm looking for. What's the chances of ramming your knee into the button lock when your getting in or out? (as a passenger)
It looks like it kinda sticks out there a bit.

It sticks out but is high enough that it's not an issue. I've never been a passenger in my Jeep but my wife or friends have never hit the button.
