You can see that one here: http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-access...security-cover

Came across this for those of you who dont like the big pad that Tuffy offers with their lockable console. They dont have one out for the Jeep yet but they are working on it.

The padded armrest is actually pretty comfortable, it is a little higher than the stock armrest. It actually matches my seat covers, they are black on the sides.

I installed mine today and bolted my CB to the back. I have to admit I thought it was expensive and almost didn't order but now its one of my favorite mods. I think it looks pretty sharp and the padded arm rest is so much better if you have the 6 spd.

TEV, did you take the back off of your stock console, or is that a requirement for that unit? Because I have, uh, power window switches there, as well as cupholders for my lazy and thirsty passengers.

Could you mount your cb inside the console?

would there be room for anything else if you did?

that would be my preference

lock it up tight and secure ....... and out of the weather

keep it away from the looky looks

I left off the panel as well as the cup holders, The console will work with the panel and cup holders in place but you do have to remove them during the install.

you could but it would not be practical for using the CB, unless you drilled a hole for the mic and mounted an exterior speaker. There is plenty of room in the console if you wanted to do this.

Yeah I was thinking of an external speaker on the sound bar and a mic jack on the front of the console

do you have a pic of the inside and the front?
