I know when I do it that ill have my dad weld it. He used to weld on nuclear reactors so I think he can handle this. Has anyone had trouble with uptravel?

RCV's will fit but you won't be able to run 35 spline upgrades shafts which are used with an ARB locker. . Just the standard 30 or 32 spline (can't remember).

35 spline RCV's will work w/ the Nitro sleeves.

I find the truss to be the only one that makes sense. Thick axle tubes don't do anything to help, it makes no sense. A truss reinforces everything and ties it all together to add strength. You can also reinforce all of your control arm mounts as well.

I installed a truss for about 200.00. Then when I had the R&P done I added the sleeves and RCV shafts.

I just installed the Nitro "hammer in" sleeves. It was a quick easy job, just deep freeze them over night and clean up you inner axle before you install them. I was welding on axle c gussets at the same time so the heat helped open up the axle tube as well. Once in place, I welded the end of the Nitro sleeve to the axle tube for extra strength. RCV's will still work with this setup as well.

This sleeve design will give your axle double wall thickness and provide a stiffer axle in less than 2 hours. Sure a truss will stiffen it up too but you'll be spending three times the amount of time installing it.

I'd rather spend $300 and have something that definately works, as opposed to spending $100 for something that doesn't really accomplish anything.

Not sure if your comment on the sleeves is your opinion or some fact that no one else can find. Please enlighten us how you can double the thickness of the axle tubes with sleeves but yet it doesn't add strength them.
