That TT is going to have to be drilled out to fit on the 3:73. It' case hardened steel, so make sure you have a shop that can resize the holes. Wanted to put it in mine, but OK4WD couldn't enlarge the holes.

I had the 4wheelparts store install mine. They had to send to a machine shop to have bolt holes enlarged. The TT works great, no noise, is ALLWAYS on 24/7. I plan to put one up front also when I do gears. Oh, I say rear axle.

This is a great reason to regear at the same time. You will have to setup the gears in the truetrac to begin with and after market gears fit without drilling out the truetrac. I just had one installed in my rear diff on my 2013 and an ARB locker up front. Works liege a dream.

Drilling is only needed for the D44 with stock gears because of the 1/2" bolts, if the OP decides to go with one up front in the D30 it'll bolt right up.

OP, if you didn't buy it new have you checked to make sure you don't have the stock LSD in the rear already? If you do putting the TT up front would be a good option

Didn't buy it new, but the build sheet indicated "conventional" diffs
