Truck-Lites
I wanted to share a quick story-
I installed the heated Truck-Lite headlights in January and they were awesome. So much better than stock and they worked as advertised during our Northern Nevada winter this year. All was good!
About 3 weeks ago I felt like they were dimming, but figured it was in my head. By a week later, it was clear it wasn't my imagination, they could barely light the road in front of me and had faded to a purple. Although the high-beams were totally fine.
I called Truck-Lites explained the deal, and they sent out replacements right away (2nd day express), no questions asked.
Moral of the story, bummer the lights dimmed, but it seemed like maybe there was a bad batch they knew about and they fixed it right away. Happy customer.

Was looking into the Truck-lite headlights but was not sure of the difference between the Rigid Industries Truck lite as well. Big difference in price on the Northridge site. $530.98 for the heated and $379.95 for the Rigid Truck-Lite? The Rigid looks non heated.

Truck light and rigid are one and the same one bought the other. I have the non heated ones and live in Montana and have had no winter issues.

It doesn't take much to ice them over....I live in an extremely temperate VA and I should have absolutely purchased the heated. They need scraping about the same time as your windshield and blades need to be cleared off.

This is the reason I am swapping back to halogen lights. I live in a place where there is TONS of wet sloppy snow and sleet. The lights ice over and pretty I am left with my 2 sets of fog lights to light the way. I am moving back to a set of hella H4 Super 7s with hellas 2.0 bulbs.
