well called them up, i decided to get the package. the trucklite leds, they come with pig tails for conversion, Duelly d2 fog lights, flood version, wire kit for them and mounting hard wear for them to fit in factory bumper, or any other bumper that accepts factory style fogs. it was $620 for everything needed. They also said since this already was a big package deal no military discount, but on other non-bundle item they would normally have unofficial discount they would give. Pretty happy (mostly the that the wife was on board for this!) Can't wait to get them! Thank you guys for all your help. And i guess we will just see about any flicker... Sandypants

wow that was the easy. It took all of 15 minutes start to finish. harnesses worked perfectly and in my dark garage no signs of flicker. There are no directions or even literature on the cartons as they come in plain brown boxes with nothing showing they are from truck-lite. I did use dielectric grease which I recommend. I notice on all the you tube videos people have a hard time hooking up the harness to the lights but with dielectric grease the connections poped right it.

Good call on the grease, never used it before, but I guess i will stop by autozone or who ever and pick some up. They said the flickes should only happen at or right next to idle.

Northridge put them in 2 day air ups for me. should be here Friday! woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!!! !!!!

It is dark here and they are 100X's better then stock and my 54 year old eyes could not detect any flicker at idle. I just went out to aim them and they seemed about perfect aim wise without any adjustment needed. I will see if I get flashed on my way home from work in the morning.

mine are instaneous exactly like the stock ones. I have only flicked them back and forth a couple of times so hopefully they will stay this way.

The part about them staying on is other ones i believe the jw speakers or aftermarket wires kits that hook them directly up to the battery for power, Some kits use very small capacitors to take the charge and smooth it out the the light. It just takes a couple seconds for the capacitors to drain, so you see a delay. These Don't use them in there system. Thats another reason i like these.

The few second dim is for those who slapped in some of the other mfg wiring harnesses. The fade you're describing is a result of the capacitor in those wiring harnesses releasing what's left of it's charge.

You can spend the extra money for them but seriously, you don't need it. You can get a relay wiring harness but it's more to wire up and unless you drive with your brights on all the time, you can spend that money elsewhere my 2 cents.
