Default Truck Lite

Installed my Christmas present today, Truck Lite driving light. Went out a little while ago to check them out and the low beam is very bright, a lot better then the stock light. Switched to hi-beam and only the driver side is working....thinking I got a defective lite as there only is a pigtail plug in and she works in low just no high. Just e,ailed Northridge and going to follow up in the morning with a phone call. Has anyone else had a problems with these lights? Hope it just is a fluke and they can ship me a replacement soon. I can say that just with the low beam through I really like these lights. I just hope I don't get a lot of flashing from other drivers.

No problems with mine. Trying unplugging it and re-plugging it. Maybe you have a bad connection.

Good luck!!

Yeah, try unplugging and re plugging. Those connectors are tight and you may have pushed a contact out....happened to me, but luckily I plugged cables together before installing the light.

If I were you I'd definitely return them for replacement!

mine were a pretty tight fit but they both work great

try some of that fancy electrical conductivity grease that I can't remember the name of...

I've had mine in for well over a year now. Once I got the plug in place it don't go anywhere. And I got the yellow grease on there it didn't do anything for it. Only time it's a pain is if I have to remove it, it's a pain getting it set back in place.

Thanks for inputs, just looked at the connections and the red lead contact had come loose. Used some stretch tape to help hold it in place as it didn't seam to lock down even with forcing it in place with a needle nose.

Try using channel lock pliers. They hold the contacts in while you use the plier to squeeze the plugs together. Worked like a charm as the contacts are really tight. Once in, they won't come out.
