Don't use a jigsaw. Use a utility knife and a heat gun. Way more precise.
Heat section of the plastic. Score with knife. Heat area again. Cut through like butter.
Less chance of making mistakes.
I don't even need trim, my edges are that clean.

I did a lesser trim on mine and installed 2 LEDS into the flares. Still need to smooth them out with a sanding block.

Just got done doing my fenders, I went to habor freight and bought a electrical Jig saw with metal fine blades taped everything off and began to cut used a sanding block to clean it up just a little bit mounted the marker light on one of the 10mm bolts. Turned out pretty good so much better than stock and make it look taller.

I finally trimmed my fenders a few weeks back. The glue strip inside of the fender trim appears not to be holding under the Florida heat. They havent fallen off but it appears to be soft to the touch and I di not think it will stay on too much longer or one branch may pull it off. Has anyone used another glue along the seam to help solidify this? I was thinking a super glue gel may work but wanted to see what other have used if anything.

I used loctite gel super glue, then cut them again and didn't use any trim. Looks good enough for me without. Been planning on getting metal flares for the last year but other stuff comes up every time I get the money set aside.

Anyway, I rounded off one corner of the blinker housing and used a short bolt and spacer to mount it in an existing hole.
Yes, I sanded the crap out of the fender edges. I followed the side cutter with a file, then 60#, 100# and 220# sandpaper. It's squeaky clean. Generally, folks are most impressed with the radius cut on the front.
