Did you get them done this weekend? I'm in Chesapeake and have thought about picking up a set of unpainted fenders from here or Craig's List and chopping them to the extent the other poster has done. Be sure to post your progress!

I did one set with a saw-zall... spent a lot of prep time taping off and everything and they only turned out decent.

I lost a rear fender on the trail so I had the pleasure of redoing a set of rears and found it way easier and had a better resulting using a SHARP utility blade. Just etch/score the line you want to cut about 3-5 times and then go for the cut!

Man... I was going to let you know to do this... I could of saved you some time.

To make it really supper duper easy, get a heat gun... heat up the plastic then it slices like butter.

I sure understand how one would be anxious and nervous just thinking about doing the job.... Can't imagine when they are all taped up and you approach the fender for the first cut, as the blade first touches the fender..... Aaaaaaahhhhrrgggg must produce an adrenaline rush for sure:-)

Mark off with tape, keep a steady hand and don't rush. Used a jigsaw and a dremel to clean up under. Was really easy! If I was closer would
Gladly help you!

Very true. You wont notice anything unless you were within 5ft of the Jeep anyways
