Default Trimmed my pinch rails...lots of pics

I didn't want to life the jk and the 37's rubbed a tiny bit with several people in the back when going over bumps so instead of the 2" life I was considering I decided to cut the pinch rails..

The jeep is a beach buggy so I don't need a lot of space for wheel travel so this was a perfect option.

I used a sawzall and pretty much just eyeballed everything. Took about 30 mins total

Pretty tight here

The bottom part will want to open up on you a bit but I just got some channel locks and squeezed them back together. No problem

This is how much I cut out...pretty dang good amount!!

I used a entire tube of jb weld and applied pretty heavy..
Make sure you mix well!!

Work it n as it will want to sag out a little..it sets up fairly fast though..
Work in the seams well and fill in the gaps

Picked up a huge amount of space!!

Between last weekend and today she got
A new top
Fender flairs
And the pinch rails trimmed

Coming soon front sport bar
Pillar lights etc etc etc etc lol

Looking good!, Just did my pinch seem & rails before the 35's went in. Glad I did, because with no lift installed, I definitely would have had some problems.
