Yeah, painters tape is great for planning out how you want them to look. But as I found out, a cut-off wheel wasn't the best idea - throws molten plastic slag everywhere, and leaves very jagged edges that definitely need to be sanded. But it worked...

Agreed. Jigsaw worked best and required less clean up. Also went much quicker...

I've done 10 sets or so. I can tape and cut all four in less than 1 hour. I use a rotozip with a fine blade. Then sand smooth.
