Default Trflx 2.5" BB rear link?

Is it a problem to run the old rear sway bar links with the Tereflex 2.5" BB?
With the price of wheel spacers as much as new soft 8's I was thinking of just waiting to put soft 8's with correct back spacing and larger tires and adding the larger links with the wheel and tire swap. I hate buying parts that will later just sit in the garage taking up space.
Does anyone KNOW if this is a problem? It seems solid.

unless you have an electric sway bar disconnect, you are ok with the stock links. However, you can install them on the inside of the mount and clear the stock rims without spacers.
