trektop
Ok guys, I bought a Trektop today and installed it and I am curious on how I can tell if it is the old design or the new design? I have heard negative things about the old version.
Anyone know???

On your rear side windows you will have a manufacture date. That will narrow it down. If you have a cross-bar in the rear - it's the old design. If you have a tightening strap across the front seat area - it's the new design. If you don't have a strap that goes from the rear top seam, forward to the sound bar and tightens up the top - it's the new design. If it was manufactured prior to last fall, it's probably the old design.

Love mine too it's great .. sure it's noisy and sometimes i get a little wet but who cares I'm drving a cool as Jeep !! I just rip it off as soon as the weather is nice and throw it in a corner of the barn .. could care less about scratches etc on the windows since it was so cheap.
