In the grand scheme of things, there aren't a lot of tires bigger than 315's sold to justify the investment in moulds to retread them. There aren't carcasses available, and the market is small. Except for...

I've ran 285/70-17 Wardens on my Duramax for about 30K miles. Can't speek for offroad performance much but they have been awesome on road. They've only got about 5-7K miles left in them but what do you expcet from a 7K pound truck on twisty roads.
If they have the right size and pattern they will be what goes on the JK when it is time.

Surprised I haven't heard about these sooner. Can't beat the price. I'd order some right now, but it's time for an engagement ring....6 years later.
