I am getting ready to pull the trigger on tires and wheels. One of my options is the package from Tread Depot which includes the VDO sensors in the wheels.

Question, has anyone had personal experience with these sensors on an '09 JKU?

If they don't work it will cost me $125 to pull the OE sensors out of the stock wheels and put them into the new wheels and if I have to do that it any savings by purchasing from Tread Depot would be wasted or more.

 

where i work we sell the VDO tire sensors and have not had any issues with them on miltiple types of vehicles but i havent seen any installed on a jeep specifically.
