Trany cooler oil flow
I am just about to put in a trany cooler and need to know the flow direction of the oil so the stock cooler gets it first then after market cooler last. this should get the best out of the cooler.
Is it the rear upper line off the trans?
Or
The lower front line off the trans?

Lower line carries fluid from transmission to the cooler.
Upper line carries fluid from cooler to transmission.

To know for sure... Let the Jeep sit and completely cool down (over night maybe). Start the Jeep, put in Drive with brake applied (so you don't move), let Jeep idle for 3 minutes, put in park , turn off Jeep, feel fluid lines on trans, the warm one is the send line, the cold one is the return line.

Otherwise, you should install a probe in the pan and a gauge for it.
