Default Transmission Coolers....

I see a few different and varying pricing from $60 to over $200.....

What should I be looking at in these and where to purchase?

I am towing stuff, so I want to get this before spring comes.

Price doesn't matter when it comes to how well they work. The $60 universal one will work as well as the $250 MOPAR one.

The difference is in the installation. All but the MOPAR use barb fittings clamped into the stock cooler return line.

If you really want a factory fit, with no cutting of lines or hose clamps, the MOPAR may be worth it to you.

Most people go for the $60 cooler.

I just did mine two weeks ago and turned out great. I went with the B&M model in the write up section. I think I have your number in an old PM. I will text you the pics

I have the $60 B&M cooler. I don't think some fancier lines/fittings warrant a 4x price difference. The fittings on the $60 cooler work just fine and are very easy to install. You will also need to buy a few extra coupling fittings in Home Depot.

I have to admit I went with the Mopar cooler kit , dealer installed on my 2010 JKU. I feel the dealer installation and warranty were worth the extra expense .Now I have a 2012, so it's a moot point.

I have the B&M cooler also. Easy install & haven't had any issues to date.

$60 B&M here too. Install takes about a half hour, very easy. Trans runs nice and cool now. Even when towing, it rarely goes above 160.
