I recently had the jeep in for it s 60 k tune up and asked the dealer to put a transmission cooler on it form the threads I found here, They told me to do this they had to get " approval form the warranty dept" (the only reason I would have the dealer do it is so it doesn't void my lifetime warranty)
The question is have any of you had a dealer installed tranny kit put on and did the dealer have to get the warranty dept to approve it, It is done with mopar parts but the kit is labeled as an international
kit.
i am in carlsbad and my dealer is bob baker jeep? what are you experiences with this?

I see no reason your dealr would have to get approval from the "warranty department".
But then, they are calling the shots.
