Default Transmission cooler

Does anybody have any input or experience with transmission oil coolers? The best or at least what some of the others are using? Thinking of making this a next purchase for my JK. Not because I have to have it but more as a preventative than anything....

B&M coolers are popular. You can find a an installation writeup up in the JK-Writeups area. (there is an Index stuck to the top, check the Performance section.)

This is actually a very good addition for these 3.8 auto's.

There is a MOPAR cooler that is plug and play. It's quite a bit more expensive, but it plugs into the OEM quick disconnects.

I can say from experience an additional cooler makes a big difference in transmission temperatures on the pre-2012 JKs.

I like the idea of the plug and play Mopar one. I'd say with this venture as easy installation as possible is what I'm going for. Thx for the replies and I'll look into it further especially the B&M and Mopar to compare.

82212486ab ?

Installed mine way back when, hadn't even heard about this one. Looks like a nice setup. Pricey, but nice.

That's the one.

I have installed a few of these, including one on my JK. Very nice kit.
