Default Tranny cooler

With my new muffler being located next to the tranny I noticed an incredible amount of heat radiating from the floor boards even though I added a double heat shield above it. Clearly some of this is heat coming from the Tranny. have any of you installed a tranny cooler? If so, what benefit have you seen?

There are quite a few posts in modified, stock and show and tell on this subject.
A transmission coler IMO is a good addition, whether it is installed on a stock or modified JK.
Here is a great write up.

Gosh, put one on TODAY..... heat will KILL your tranny. I PUT one on, a 26000 GVW sized, maybe overkill, but I've had NO tranny problems.Installed it on metal straps in front of the condenser. Did not affect the A/C or the engine temp.
