What did y'all do to get the third brake light wire removed? I didn't want to cut it just yet but wondered if I did, will it just pull through the rubber plug? I tugged on the wire pretty good and it doesn't seem to want to budge from that thing.

Default DIY Tramp Stamp

I made my own. I also wanted to move the plate onto the tailgate and avoid breaking the stocker off on a tree The ORO Plate & 3rd Brake Lite is a slick add-on if you move your plate.

You could say this was "inspired" by an existing manufacturer. Nice design, I am happy with it.

If your buying a Tramp Stamp and think you might want to look at future add-on's (eg. CB Mount, Water/Fuel Jugs, exterior monuted tool box, etc.), I'd highly recommend the Vector, Element Plate. For a simple clean look with no plate or add-on's, I like the Jeepswag plate.

With regards to the spare tire, I'm confident my MTR's will hold up around town. On the trail or road trip, I throw the 35" on the floor in the back (4 dr). I enjoy looking out "all" of the rear window. It's a personal preference. I understand why alot of people want to keep the spare on the back tailgate/rear tire carrier.

Hope this helps!
Perfect! Thanks.

Hopefully they are running a spare on a tire carrier, but totally agree.
Years ago we we running a trail, guy slashed his sidewall, no spare.
His pattern 5x5.5 everyone else 5x4.5.
Had to run to a town, call a friend, bring the spare, run the trail again.
Nightmare day on the trail.

Too bad these restrict fan output and eventually burn out your fan because it's working the piss out if it. That it when you are running hardtop or have a good cabin seal.

The Vector Element plate does not restrict any airflow. It allows you to keep the factory baffle in the rear tailgate.

I experience the same scenario with the factory items installed. My Jeep even came with a fan whistle when the top is on, the windows up, and the gate closed.
