I don't think it would as it protrudes in the middle plus you would have to give up the antenna mount as it utilizes the factory holes. I never even thought about it as I have a swing away. I bought it for the CB antenna mount and to get rid of the third brake light.
I am sure Matt @ Rancho can chime in and give you a definite answer. Even if it doesn't you should buy it anyway and that will give you an excuse to buy a nice tire carrier

Here's mine. It's from JeepSWAG (part of the drop down tailgate). I just got the plate, that's all.

Painted to match and custom LED set up for third brake light. (light has been painted with niteshades for now, since condensation was an eyesore)

I truly don't know it has been so long since I have seen the stock tire carrier on a JK< but I learn towards a no, great time to upgrade your bumper.

I'm thinking of doing this. I spend most of the time on trails and don't do rocks. I carry a plug kit and compressor. Would love to get the tire off the back door.
