Default trailmods removable flares anybody have?

After my last outing in my 4 door I have come the the conclusion that the stock JK fender flares were intended to be wings.... so I cam across the trailmods removable flares while looking for another option. anybody have these? like dislikes?

their website is here: hxxp://www.trailmods.com

Thanks!

They are cool until you have them stacked in the back seat banging around all over. That or you take of at home then sling rocks against your rig for miles and miles to and from play area

Most of the places I go we either have a place to stay (read free door/part storage) or a friend with a trailer to leave stuff in. I think they were like ~800 for a set last time I looked but would give me the highway rock/salt/sand protection when I need it and WAY skinnier footprint when I don't. really cool stuff though

Hahaha I too have always thought the factory flares on the JK looked like wings. The Trailmods flares are expensive but I loved the look of the "Trail Flares." They were exactly what I always had in mind for my Jeep and I'm in a state where full tire coverage isn't mandatory for vehicles of this class. So I purchased a set of those in January. Love em! Driving through water or mud gets the Jeep's windshield covered more than with the factory flare but I have no body damage or windshield damage due to rocks.

Hey, txjeeplover. It doesn't sound like you run the road flares all that often, but have you ever had any issues with the road flares staying attached on the highway?

BTW, I'm diggin' the emblem you have on the back of your rig in your thread above.
