I ran a psc 1.5"x6" ram stroke is about 5.5" had enough travel for me. Measure your steering throw and you'll be able to tell how long of a ram you need. Killed my stock pump, upgraded to the psc pump and had to go to a 1.75"x6" ram.

Thanks for the reply. I measured my Throw & it seems like the 6 will work for me too. So if I plan on getting the PSC pump & reservoir I should get the 1.75?

Im rocking a 1.5 x 8 inch on mine with stock pump. No problems so far. Normally the smaller the ram the faster the response but less power. If your getting a psc pump sure 1.75 will work but nothing wrong with a 1.5. many people have been running a 1.5 on 40s plus on stock pump for years. If you do not bleed it all properly id say your severely increasing the odds youll fry your stock pump.

Go with the larger bore and hi volume pump/reservoir from PSC.You find the smaller bore is very sensitive and you should be ok with the stock pump unlike the larger bore requires more volume the stock pump just does have it.

Thanks for the info guys. I purchased the Trail Gear setup. Looking around at the prices of PSC & you just can't beat $250 for everything minus a drill bit, tap, & fluid. I'm gonna run my stock Delphi box & pump for now. I'll upgrade things if this setup doesn't work out.

I got my Ram installed. I went with the 1.5ram, I'm using a PSC gear box & stock pump. I can turn my tires while siting still but it's not as effortless as what I was hoping for. Is there anyone running a 1.5 ram with a PSC pump & would doing that route give me a little more power? Thanks.
