sea bass

Just saw this stuff at my local shop in the sub $300 price range. Anyone have any experience? It seemed very stiff (which I like) and has the protective casing around the entire length to protect from sun, abrasion, debris, etc.
I know it's no masterpull XD but this seems like it could be a good alternative without sacrificing too much quality but a huge savings in price???
