Default Traction control light issues

So......just installed rubicon express adj track bar. Centered axle ( moved it about 1/4") . Steering wheel was way off, centered it also. Now the traction control light wont turn off? Do a need an alignment? Also, am I safe to drive it like this? There's no esp or abs issues. Suggestions....

It takes a little bit for the light to go off after you recenter the steering wheel. It doesn't clear immediately. You could try disconnecting the battery negative cable for 15 minutes. That may reset it.

First thing is to recenter your steering wheel. There are two 15mm bolts on the drag link. Loosen and rotate until steering whee is centered. Then you Traction control light will go out.

Ya, I did that. I'll give it a day or 2 before I worry about it I guess.

Resetting the computer by powering down will clear the code, but will the light stay off or turn back on when the problem causing the light on wasn't fixed. Good luck.
