Traction control kicks in on turns with new 35s
Recently lifted my 07 and put 35s on it, and ever since these mods wen i make an exaggerated turn either way such as going around a jug handle or a long curve on a street the traction control kicks in any ideas? I thought it was just cause the new tires had to break in but its been about 3 months and it dosent happen as often but still happens ......help please ,and o yea it happens on dry pavement obviously

Yep, do what they said. Once I got mine out and crawled it kinda hard a couple times it quit doing it as bad, but I installed a switch to turn it off. I would check what the first two stated first. Those are both causes, especially the steering wheel.

You also have to reprogram for the tire size difference. The difference in tire rotational speed between left and right is what sets off traction/stability control. The taller tires have different rotational values.

When you lift your Jeep it throws your steering wheel centering off. The more you lift, the more so. To correct this you need to recenter it. This is done by adjusting the length of the drag link. Until properly centered, your Jeep will think it is skidding during some turns.
Here is how to do it--easy, 15 minute job. If you pay a shop to "align" your Jeep because you lifted, this is all they will probably do (while charging you full price) ...

How high did you lift, BTW?

It happens even with the steering wheel centered. Mine did it just yesterday. High cross wing, around 90 degree turn and hit a pot hole. Jeep skootched sideways a bit and wallah! Light came on. Stayed on for about 2 miles. Turned the jeep off then back on and it went out. Same scenario as the other two times, less the cross wind.
