Traction Control Issue
I just got my JK back from the shop where it was lifted 2.5" and we had 35s put on it. It's unbelievable!
My only question - my Traction Control is activating prematurely when I go around sharp turns. I'm sure it's because of the new tire size....any way I can get it to stop?

Make sure your steering wheel has been centered since the lift and tires.

Not necessarily! Is your steering wheel centered as you drive? If not then it will throw the ESP into believing the jeep is sliding, and turn on all the time. Easily fixed, but a pain if not right.

until you get in ice/rain/snow...then it is. A friend of mine was up in Washington a few months ago for work and had a Dodge Nitro for a rental. They went out in the snow/rain and turned the ESP OFF, then swerved back and forth (in a parking lot) to see what would happen...spun out every time. Then turned ESP ON and tried the same thing, and he said no matter what they did it wouldn't spin out. Haven't tried it this extreme myself, but I know it keeps our Liberty from sliding sideways around turns when you punch the gas.
