Good luck... did you do any heavy wheeling lately? Seems odd that it would break...

The only thing close to wheeling I have done was I climbed a dirt pile about 2 months ago...

try to figure out how or what is causing that kind of stress.

If you don't correct it, as you strengthen each break it'll go to the next weak link. you don't want some major failure...

The only thing I could think of would be the drop bracket was loose for a while and perhaps it shifting over a period of time before I welded it caused it to fracture then it just got progressively worse over time...

Just called 4 wheel parts to see if they knew of any replacement mounts, and the said that I should call a frame repair shop, because they only have braces, and can't get a aftermarket mount, so that sucks...

If it were my I'd cut some steel and fab up a reinforcement. Realistically thats really all a body shop would do, I work at one. Plus, they may not even want the job b/c of liability issues.

This was exactly my plan to get by on. I am also bout to ditch the drop bracket and buy me an adjustable track bar. Never fails, but that's life I guess.
