Default Track Bar Joints

You guys will have to forgive me, but I couldn't find what I was looking for in the search feature so I figured I'd make a post.

I am looking at getting an adjustable front track bar. Plain and simple, I am curious about the performance and longevity of the different joint types. What does everyone prefer? What are the pro's and con's of certain joints? I am just trying to weigh my options here.

As far as I know, there are heim, poly, and rubber joints. Synergry and rock krawler use a heim end and a rubber end. Steinjager uses poly ends on both. JKS and Metalcloak use rubber on both ends.
I'd appreciate some feedback on each joint type and on each brand of track bar if possible.

I am leaning toward Steinjager or JKS/Metalcloak style but am open to all suggestions.

Thanks guys!

Superlift sent me their new TB with the new Dual durometer joints. A little hesitant to install because i was running Synergy's. Good thing i did because the Heim joint used in the Synergy bar was already loose. I immediately felt the difference on road over bumps. Not sure if it was the worn bushing or the new DD bushings used in the SL bar. Anyways ... Can't beat the $119 shipped price.

Thanks for the info! That is a hell of a price. So I take it you don't like the maintenance of a heim joint then?? That's a fair point. I am waiting to hear back from a local guy on a price for metalcloak. I've got a lil cart of parts waiting for me to pull the trigger at quadratec, so I added this to it just in case lol. This, and a SS relocation bracket from Dominion will be my next steering/suspension mods! Can't wait!

I prefer heims all over. I had a few different brands bushings go out before i swapped it all to heims. They do however tend to be a tad louder and not disperse vibrations and such as well.
