Trac bar help.

FYI
I had some MAJOR problems right after I installed my adj. trackbar.
When I hit any sort of bump in the road, big or small....my steering wheel would rack back and forth so violently, that the only way to stop it was to slam on the brakes and slow to at least 15-20 MPH. It was really bad, and scary.
I took some trackbar measurements, the way I said to in my previous post, and I found out that my axle was off center by about a half inch. Well I adjusted the trackbar and got the axle pretty darn close to center, and thankfully I haven't had any terrifying incidents since.
Just though I'd share.

I think the fron and rear are different lengths, you may have swapped them. Instructions should say.
Anytime you use bolts there should be an absolute minimum of three full turns in, five is much better. There should be NO sloppiness when wiggling from side to side, none.
I know it's technically not a bolt, but the principle still applies.
At this point I'd triple check everything! And I don't mean just look at it.

EESH....Stinkin dealerships man. Alot of those guys don't even know anything about the vehicles they deal with. I hate dealing with them. Seems like you have to spell everything out for them and they still don't get it.

I was going to give the lift install a go myself (I've got all the tools), but my Dealership pretty much begged to do it. They did it for CHEAP and they "guarenteed" their work. I could have freakin' done better than they did.

How high are you lifted! There is no way your track bar was centered AND extended out that far. I would say go from the passenger side. Im no McGyver and I got mine centered up fairly easy. Best of luck and be sure to torque everything up and recheck it after a bit.

Yeah I hate letting other people do stuff to my Jeep. I just always find some half assed crap down the road. I like to be able to just blame myself for a screw up.

Here's Eddies write up for the Fulltraction Ultimate Lift, (3")
Track Bar install
Here it shows 3/8" adjustment, Its not even close to be all the way out for a 3" lift.
