What magic is this?
I searched for black rubber stems that I could swap out and keep my sensors. If anyone has a part number or supplier please give it to me.

Has anyone done this? I now have 2011 wheels/tires but noticed the valve stems are all black (my '08 are gray). Think my computer will recognize these 'new' tpms sensors? Would love to hear from someone that has already done this same scenario... 2008 or 2009 Jeep with 2011 Rubi take-offs.

I had black rubber stems on my steelies with TPMS on my Jeep that was built in April of 2010. I just upgraded this past Friday to 2011 Rubicon wheels with TPMS and they have black rubber stems too.
The TPMS works like a charm. As soon as the pressure drops on one wheel (not the spare) the light comes on and goes off as soon as you bring it back up.
I prefer to keep the light functional. That way it reminds me that I need to air up before going back out on the street.
