Default tpms

well yet again i have a stupid newbie question.... my wheel package is getting delivered tomorrow... i ordered them for the 07 x that i have but im getting ready to trade it in for a new rubi...ive heard people on here say stuff about tpms in the 08's....will i be alright putting them on an 08 or do i need to do something with the tpms??

You will need tp put your tpms sensors from the 08 into your new rims.

yep, shouldn't be a problem...just have them swap the sensors out of your new Rubi wheels into the wheels you will be using. It'll cost a little bit, but probably not too much.

No biggie, you'll just have the TPMS light on the dash illuminate at start up and ding once or twice....if you can get use to that, it might not be worth swapping them over.

If you don't you will have to live with the light and the chime.....and if you live in a state that requires inspections you will fail them and not be able to sell it.

Has anyone bought an extra set of the tpms sensors? if so how much did they run? I am looking at getting some extra wheels for most of the year, and then keeping my stock wheels and tires for the winter.
