I'm rocking the MTZ's and I am telling you they are the best tire I have ever used yet! They clean out very well and will save your butt when you are in a big sloppy Alabama mud hole! They are suprisingly quite on the hard ball, and they just look damn good on anything you put them on!

Default Toyo Open Country MT vs. Mickey Thompson MTZ? Which one ?

I'm running the MTZ's and I love them. I'll go back with them when I upgrade to 35's. I have about 35,000 miles on mine and will get another 10,000 or so. They are pretty quiet on the road for a MT. The only con on them is that they will chunk here and there on sharp gravel, but it's really not bad.

Toyo hands down They are not loud at all compare to other brands. They balance VERY easy they run smooth on highway. They have not let me down off road!!!!

I love my Toyo's on the road and on dry trails and rocks but they have not been good in the GA mud. For me, IROK Super Swampers seem to be the right tire...
