Laderajk said that your buddy's Toyo MT's were too noisy. Did he keep them rotated properly?

Here is a pic of the TOyo Open Country AT II Extreme. I was going to buy them, but ran into a deal I could not pass up on some used KM2.Click image for larger version

toyo m/ts are noisy, i have 4 sets on 4 of my work trucks and 1 set on BFG ATs on my f450 dually. all in 37 and 38inch sizes. the toyo's are noisy but i prefer them off road compared to the BFG AT. for a work truck, i have no complaints with the toyo's and they haven't let us down. but i personally wouldn't run them on my jeep, but that said, i don't really need a toyo m/t.

i also have 5 sets of tires in my shed, all of them toyo m/ts, in 17 and 18inch sizes, some 50% and one set around 70%. i should sell them .....

Terra grapplers were my first choice in tires, but then I was talkies into fierce attitudes, which were a good bit cheaper but still rated the same as the terra grapplers.

I am of the group who can't figure out why people keep buying bfg at's. I have had three sets and hated each one but kept drinking the koolaid. I currently am running gy duratracs and they are much quieter and smoother than the toyo mt's they replaced. (i had 54k on the toyos and probably could have made it to 65k, I thought they were great tires. Just really heavy and road hard. The toyos almost lasted as long as my engine.)

I am gonna put some grapplers on my commander.

He is rotating properly, only has 7k miles on them.

I think the problem is he has been driving his wifes infinity lately

I don't think anyone's mentioned Dick Cepek FC-II. I have 33x12.5 and love them. They're an AT but built on an MT carcass so you have a deeper tread than a standard AT.

A little pricey compared to some other brands out there but I think they're worth it.

Here's another one for ya. I have 37's and to my surprise they are louder than I think they should be or prefer. About 10k on them and worn evenly.
