Default Toyo AT2 vs Nitto Trail Grappler

Looking to get a set of 35x12.5 Nitto Trail Grapplers, or Toyo AT2 tires. Not really sure which to choose, and would like some opinions and thoughts on them both.

Two completely different tires. One is a mud the other is an AT. Depends on what you want.

AFE ss high tuck cat back. I got it as an open box and 1/2 off. My friend runs just a flow master 50 muffler and it sounds about the same. If I had to pay full price I'd just get the muffler.

Thanks for the compliment.

Is there a reason why you are considering the a/t 2 from toyo rather than the mud terrains? The m/t would be a better comparison to the trail grapplers. Otherwise, you are looking at two completely different tires with different intentions.

I know one is an A/T and one is an M/T. However I do not like the Toyo Open Country M/T as much as the Nitto, and vice versa when it comes to the A/T. I have had the Trail Grapplers before, and I see it more of a hybrid mud-terrain/all-terrain. I should've been more clear and stated that I want an aggressive looking tire that is good on road but can also be great off-road, and would like opinions so I could choose between the two. Also, I know the Toyo A/T2 gets the extreme tread design when you get to a 35x12.5. The intention of the tire isn't for serious rock crawling or to have a super cleated mud tire, just something that performs well on and offroad with an aggressive look.

The design of the toyo m/t and trail grap is so similar that I am missing your point about not liking one over the other. They are almost the same tire.

But...based on what you are describing, the duratracs seem to fit that profile just as much as the at2 and has been out much longer than the at2. I still haven't seen the at2 in person so no clue how it does OffRoad. The duratracs are very good off road and they have tons of fans that swear by them.

With that said, I say get the at2's and report back here with results.

X2. Not even comparable tires. I'm personally not a fan of all terrains, and the trail grapplers and toyo mt's ride so good, you forget they are mud terrains. I would get the trail grapplers for sure.

Best advice, tart with your desired trad for function/use. Hen decide. With that said, Nitto only for truck &suv and Michelin for cars. My own opinion and preference. With 2 sets f Nittos, I've never had a sidewall puncture, slice or pinch, I've always had even wear, very little balancing for the set up, no flat spots after sitting, and definitely outlasted every other tire I have ever tried. Toto, GY, Yokos.......
