You should be fine, just make sure to get your hitch as level as possible and don't take it too hard...if you have any heavy items in it, try to move them to the front of the trailer.

Yes, 4.10 was available, but the owner's manual gives a tow rating for 3.21 gears, which means a hitch could have been purchased for a JK with 3.21 gears.

I expect you know this, but just to make clear: If you ordered a tow package on a 2007 X, it came with the 4.10 gears. There was no option for the 3.21s. I (foolishly) tried and the website wouldn't let me build it. Now I know better. Well, I've regeared anyway, LOL. You could also order the 4.10 gears separately. But, if you got just the tow hitch and harness, then that was dealer installed, not factory installed.

Exactly. That's why the owner's manual includes a tow rating for the 3.21 gear ratio.
