It's 1 5/16 for the small ones, 1 1/2 for the big. It's loose, but correct. I have put everything I have into these without any damage, it's the right size.

I have large open end wrenches in that size. I put them on and put all of my 270lbs behind it till it absolutely won't budge. No problems so far, just man handle it!

I used this setup and found it hard to keep the joint square while putting enough force on it. Agree with most with "just torque the crap out of them" and you should not have any problems.

I have very few things I did not like about my RK lift. I push their product every chance I get, but this was one of my concerns during my install. IIRC, almost every one of my CAs were not drilled/threaded true so what you end up with is the jam nut only contacting about 25% of the "jamming" surface. This would certainly require much more torque to keep from coming lose than if the entire jam nut surface were in contact.

Interesting, did u contact them about this? They seem like the kind of company that would want to fix this issue......gotta check mine now while they're still in the box

I did. They basically said "don't worry about it and crank them down". To be fair, I've not had any come lose, but it still isn't "correct".

Meh, I'm not gonna worry too much about it since they haven't been coming lose. But I figured at least I've let them know in case I were to have any of those issues.
