I went from this first picture to the second (sorry it's upside down). They are DeWalt cases and they fit perfectly inside the Tuffy security enclosure in my JKU. there is a about 4-5 inches of room behind them for stuff that doesn't fit inside like large impact socket set, come along etc. They are the DeWalt DWST08201/3 - they were under $200 for all 4 on amazon ...

I'm a toolbox type of guy. I can keep thinks a little more organized, it's water proof if I get stuck in a storm, and it's a tiny bit more secure from theft. I can lock it, and lock it to my roll cage. It also serves as a great canvas for all of the free stickers I get when I order parts.

what size wrenches do you carry
What size wrenches do you guys carry? its probably too much, I also have a first aid kit and winch remote tucked behind the driver seat on the floor. I was thinking of taking oath aback seat and building a fall deck with storage underneath all and deep storage behind the from seats where the back seat was. Bu tI might sell the 08 and get a new 15 so I M ON THE FENCE.
I tend to carry everyone including sockets and drives I use a husky tool bag behind the passenger seat> I also cary other stuff survival gear in the rear space beneath the floor and some lights and stuff in the jack compartment.

I always have a standard husky set plus a 18mm, 21mm, 22mm, and 7/8 in both socket and wrenches in my Jeep

Safety seal tire plug kit, full set metric/us sockets/extensions and wrenches, breaker bar, pliers, hammer, screwdrivers, baling wire, rescue tape, Mac's Trail D-vise, winch controller/accessories, ratchet straps, gloves, tp, umbrella, hatchet, saw, spare ujoints (axle & shaft), Life straw, windproof matches, emergency blankets and a few other things. All in cases or tool wraps (which I highly recommend) and no lost space in the cab. I add a trail bag with winch straps, etc. and first aid pack when I'm off road. Stock jack in stock location, fire extinguisher, jumper cables and ARB jack base under rear seat. Highly recommend this stuff: http://www.expeditionexchange.com/bucketboss/

I've been using the medium size husky bags.. Strong as hell.. All my tools in one bag divided in pockets and on socket rail organizers. All of it weigh 50 lbs at least.. No worries in ripping.. The other husky bag has all my recovery gear.... I have a separate smaller bag for electrical components from radio shack plus the electrical tools that may be needed.
