Funny thing happened today. Went to go pick up my lift and price out some tires. The store owner was telling me to forget the tire options I was inquiring about. 315/70/17 duratrac, KO2 and Toyo Open country AT2. He told me to go with the MT Baja or I would be disappointed with my tire selection. He said the Baja are better than my other options for snow, which I find that hard to believe since they look like a mud tire, but, I could be wrong. He was really pushy trying to get me into those MT Baja. Are they really that good?
It's my daily driver, I live up here in Canada with lots of snow. Moderate trials. No rocks.

Unless you are going to be flexing your suspension taking Jeep selfies posed on rocks, 33s are plenty tire.
I have Duratrac 35s on my Unlimited Sahara but the only reason I didn't go 33s is I wanted a little more fording height. (I'm in Florida so rock climbing was not a consideration.) I like my Duratracs but I think they would be a little noisy for a DD. I'm 50/50 highway to off-road.
I shopped around for months and found the best price at Sam's ... until Kaufmann Tire (sorry, only in Georgia and Florida) beat them by $20 per tire. Plus, they removed my TPMSs and transferred them to my new wheels (M/T Classic IIIs) and aired up , balanced my old tires and put them in my Jeep for me, all for free.
All I can say is shop around. Read reviews. Consider how and where you drive. Then get the best price for the best service.
Ok, that last picture is just nasty.

I do not have experience with any of those except for the Duratracs in both 285/70r17 and 315/70r17. They are pretty quiet on the highway have a nice ride and kick ass in the snow. I am amazed at how well a rear wheel drive does in the snow with these tires and once when that is not good enough you put it in 4WD it tracked awesome. They truly performed well on light snow, deep snow, slush, and rain.

I have done lots of homework, read reviews, and asked around the forum about a good set of tires for my area / needs. Lots of people have pointed me to the Duratracs and that is pretty much what I'm going to end up with. I haven't heard anything about the MT Baja. Not one person suggested them to me that they would fit my needs. I found it funny that store owner was so adamant that I was making a wrong choice inquiring about Duratracs, KO2 and Toyo at2. I have read good reviews on them all.
You will be happy with the Duratracs when I sold my 285s they had 18000 miles on them and over 80% tread. I did a 5 tire rotation every 5000 miles.

When I was looking for tires, I thought these two sites had the best consolidated information:As far as where to buy them, I went with Discount Tires Direct (I was considering Walmart because they had the tire I wanted in stock but DTD matched their prices on a comparable, more expensive tire) and they were shipped free (tax free as well) to my door.
