KM2 Vs Duratrac
I currently have 35 inch KM2s and have been very pleased with them. I live in SoCal so we don't see much rain or snow. All my offroading is in the local deserts. The KM2s have never let me down. I have about 40K miles on them and it's time for new tires. Even though I like the KM2, I am seriously looking at the Goodyear Duratrac. I think I will get similar offroad performance and better onroad performance. Better gas milage and a quieter ride would be nice. Has anyone ran the Duratrac 35 inch tire and knows how it performs in sand and mud? I know it is a great snow tire too.

I am on my third set of Hankook Dynapro MT'S - have em on my Rubicon, my Cherokee and the wife's Tundra.
Factory they are ok in rain and suck in the snow. Mud is no problems as well as sand.
I siped mine by hand and saw a significant improvement in the rain.
Purchased from DTD and running sizes 35", 285/70/17 and 37's.

I am a fan of Cooper tires, I love the S/T's I have on my Wrangler they are an aggressive all-terrain and do well in both the snow and mud and are not real loud. I'm on my 3rd set and have been getting about 65,000 miles out of them. I have Cooper AT3's on my Cherokee and they are quiet, ride really nice and are good in snow but not real great in mud. Earlier this year I replaced the worn out Cooper H/Ts with a set of Cooper Discoverer ATP's from Discount Tire Direct for the wife's Avalanche and they are quiet, ride nice, great in the snow and rain, and I haven't had them in the mud yet but they look like they should be better than the AT3s.
285/75R16 (33") Cooper S/T
235/75R15 (29") Cooper AT3

Discount Tire has a big sale on, but it ends tonight. I just bought 16" level 8 punch -6 backspacing & 285/75/16 Duratracs. $100 back on rims & $100 back on tires + double the discount if you use their credit.
