Default Which tires to buy?

Hi There,
Im not sure which tires to buy. Im looking to upgrade my Jeep but this time Im gonna go slow, Im thinking of getting some 33' on it, cause Im driving it mostly on the streets,so I need tires that are good on the streets and on wet pavement. And of course that have good grip during any 4x4 trail.
Please help me to decide. About wheels does anybody knows that if the KMC XD775 fits an 08,18'' Sahara?
Thank you all...
Sandra

I was in between the BFG and decided to go with MK Baja ATZ

Good luck

You'd probably want to go with an All terrain tire. I like the BFG AT's. 33" tires also seem reasonable for a daily driver and can fit with no lift.

Toyo Open Country M/T, surprised at how quiet they are for such an aggressive tread. They kick ass off road.

Nitto Mud Grapplers. They are loud and obnoxious but they look cool, balance well, and after 5000 miles mine still look brand new. They are no slouch off road either.

Get the BFG AT. They are a good light all terrain tire. The other tires mentioned weigh a lot more than the BFG and your mileage will not be as good with those tires. The Toyos weigh a ton at 15-20 lbs more EACH. That is about 80 lbs more rolling resistance. 80 lbs rolling resistance is like hauling 540 lbs dry weigh inside the Jeep.

1 lb rolling resistance=7 lbs dry weight

I took this into account when I ordered wheels and tires. I wanted light wheels and tires since I drive my Jeep on and offroad. I still get decent gas mileage with my 37s.

When I move to 33s I either going to get BFG TA AT KOs or Dick Cepek FC IIs. Both are A/T tires that have a good aggressive looking tread.

BFG KM2s if you want to wait a couple of months - national backorder.
