I must have missed something, why are you so intent on running 15" wheels?
The ONLY positive I see about 15"s is the lower cost... but then your stuck with
small brakes, unless you buy larger wheels (bye bye initial savings)
Take-off stock 17"s are cheap and easy to find, why not run a set of those until
you can afford what you "want" (which will change over time anyway)
Just some random thoughts from a lifetime Jeeper... (bought my 1st in 1978)

I also wanted the duratracs however when I was finally able to afford them they were not available so I went with the Kelly Safari TSRs. A lot cheaper that the Duratracs and they are actually a sister tire... have used them in mud and sand with no issues... hope this helps...
