33s, some will say 35s. From what i understand, the 35" size, depending on gearing, motor and transmission is the tipping point. I'm on 33s with 3.21s on a pentastar and honestly haven't noticed much of a difference in anything. Maybe 1 mpg here and there but nothing crazy.

You want power? Buy a challenger hellcat. You want economy? Buy a moped. Hell buy a moped anyway if you live close enough to work, then you can go nuts with your rig!

With 35's and stuff, expect maybe a 3mpg drop. Regearing only made it worse (mileage wise).

I run 315 BFG with 3.73 auto and mostly highway and back roads and average 16-18. Some power loss but it isn't that bad. If you are in the mountains it will be different.

It's important to make the distinction if you've got the 3.8 or the 3.6, the 3.8 isn't fond of larger tires and you'll feel it unless you go narrow and tall or all terrain.

You can do 315 70 17 easy with a 2" lift. Regear though to like 4.56. Here's mine with that setup
